Commissioned by God

The show consists of more than 50 two- and three-dimensional works that Swenson has been creating for more than seven years. Many of these pieces have been included in group shows throughout southern Maine: the Hive Gallery, River Tree Arts, the York Art Association, Space Gallery, the Richard Boyd Gallery, Collett’s Cup and Engine.

Swenson’s show is a visual commentary encompassing today’s supercharged rhetoric surrounding church and state, politics and religion.
